With the continuous advancement of power technology, the industry's requirements for the performance of inductive components are becoming increasingly stringent. As a crucial electronic element, the performance of inductors directly impacts the stability and reliability of power supplies. Recently, the technical department at Gujing successfully solved an inductor application challenge for a customer in the power industry.

Customer demand background:

The customer has raised the following three requirements for the inductor:

(1) Voltage withstand requirement: The inductor must meet the voltage withstand standard of 1500v/5mA/3S to ensure stable operation under high voltage conditions.

(2) Solder leg length: The length of the solder leg for the QZ wire should be controlled at 5±1mm to accommodate precise circuit board design.

(3) Soldering process: The depth of soldering needs to be precisely controlled, neither too deep nor too shallow, while ensuring consistency in mass production.



Guging Solutions:

These customer requirements pose significant challenges for mass production, especially regarding the consistency of manual soldering. The GJ Technology team conducted an in-depth analysis of the customer's PCB board thickness and pin spacing requirements, and designed specialized production tooling to ensure precise positioning and soldering quality of the inductors.

In order to enhance the efficiency of the customer's plug-in process, the technical department has also proposed solutions for dispensing glue at the outlet end and blister packaging. This improvement not only simplifies the customer's assembly process but also reduces labor costs. After joint evaluation with the customer, it was confirmed that this improvement can significantly enhance the efficiency of the plug-in process and reduce costs.
